Unhappy Problem with bumper chips

Hi all, still pretty new to my FRS. That said, in less than a month I'm seeing a good amount of rock chips in my front bumper, it shows pretty hard with hot lava too. I was hoping to find a good solution to mitigate this as much as possible outside of usual waxing/careful driving. Don't really want a bumper bra either.....not a fan of the look.Nor do I think that the 100+ degree (F) heat I consistently live in helps my case. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to help it if so?

our paint in cheap and thin, its going to chip on you,

only real way to prevent rock chips it to invest in a Clear bra

but at this point, since you already have rock chips, you would need to repaint the entire front bumper and then clear bra it

Ah damn, that's disappointing to hear. But I suppose at least its just the bumper and not my windshield. Thanks.

Even a bra doesn't help if hit at highway speeds. Mine looks like it took some shot gun blasts to the front. Get a touch up pen and go to town. You will get good at it.
I have found that mine seems to be getting slightly more chip resistant as time goes by though. Hits that 6 months ago would have been a chip for sure now only dimple the clear coat a bit.

Ya, the bigger nicks and dings are memories to me. I actually point them out saying "that was a flying tail light, and this was a big bolt, and over here it was what I think was a brake line". They are all badges of honour of a driven car that a garage queen will never earn.

PS - stone chips from dump trucks however just piss me off

So with it being this new, would it be worthwhile to touchup the chips nicely and invest in a clear bra? Or do I just get over it and just enjoy how much fun it is to drive ;D

It is very hard to do if it is your first new car but you will be happier driving and sleep better for it.

to be honest,

either repaint the front bumper and clear bra it

or move on and invest that money into another mod
