eBay Lips, skirts, good quality? Or garbage?
Anyone have any experiences with these "Poly urethane" Products? Do they look good? Are they easy to install? Worth the money? |

I picked up a rear valance "diffuser" of ebay super cheap.
Quality, fitment, and durability have been top notch! Over in the vette forums lots of guys do the same thing to avoid getting raped by Chevy or the big brand names. Its all plastic and if you desire you can wrap or paint the plastic yourself and save some $$$$. Most important thing is fitment. Good thing about ebay is paypal and the ease of getting a refund if something does not work out. |

You should have scrolled down to another thread or searched. This thread I describe differences in sellers and material used. Look at my posts. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85794
The biggest problem with eBay: The sellers have no idea the material difference between ABS and Polyurethane. ABS plastic is super cheap and what most of those cheap lips are made of. If it's really stiff and doesn't flex by itself or you try twisting it, it's ABS. ABS will shatter and crack if it hits something. Polyurethane is flexible and has give, if it hits something, it'll bend and won't snap, but costs more and not exactly friendly to painting because of it's flex. These eBay sellers sell thousands of other parts for cars and have no idea what the lip is like they don't test it themselves, they literally use pics from cars from other sellers or online to show you what it "looks" like, even though it's not their actual product. Buyer beware on eBay, it's the land of scam products. -RyanG |

Stick to Bayson R for replicas if you can. Those are pretty good, fitment wise.

A buddy of mine bought a ducktail spoiler for his Camaro and fitment wasn't great but the body shop he had install it was able to tweak it a bit to make it fit, because of the polyurethane.
With that said, I am going to buy a cheap front lip kit off eBay soon. I just can't justify spending $500+ for a fibreglass or carbon lip that I'm probably going to end up breaking eventually and for $80-$150 you can't go wrong. I could replace the lip 4 or 5 times before I buy one authentic one. |

From this kit, I have the spats and side skirts. They were solid. Can't say anything about the front lip. Btw, I'll be selling mine soon as I got another kit to take it's place (5 Axis) because I wanted a different look. I would have gladly kept this on my car cause it really does add a nice "finish" to the design without costing a lot of money. Color match it if you can (but black is nice too).
