In need of Subwoofer assistance. spare tyre sub/8' mini

Hi guys,

I just upgraded all my stereo system in my brz. I added an extra 2 speakers on my dash next to my tweeters (to my surprise there were no speakers in there.. I was very surprised seeing as it looks like there should have been), 4 inch alpines pictured below. and also some 6.5' splits connected with JBL amp under passenger seat.

Also went for a pioneer nav/reverse cam headunit with all the added goodies.

HOWEVER, it is clear and sounds great, its just majorly lacking bass. I dont want something thats going to kick me in the face. I just want something sensible enough to lose my mind to on the way home from work and relieve some frustration..

I have been looking at two options:

PIONEER TS-WX210A 8" ACTIVE SUBWOOFER

OR

I have never had any experience with these small/unusual units, if anyone can shed some light on them that would be great. Or if you are unsure what kind of sub to install, I hope this helps!

I'd do the TS-WX210A but goodness that's a lot of cash for what you get.
I have this right now: http://www.jlaudio.com/pwm110-jxwxv2...-systems-93248
and it blends very solidly with my current build. unfortunately it cannot get to face kicking levels, so I'm considering upgrading.
