Traction controll problem after steeing wheel install...
So I installed my new nardi wheel with works bell hub. I trouble shot a few times and made sure all resistors were in check because the fest time I put them in without and electric tape to ensure they would stay and I got ABS and traction control light on. I fixed that however now when conerinh hard the traction controll light flashes and the brakes see to puls (abs?)... Any idea why this would be?
Anything would help thanks |

Well - depending on what wheels/tires you went with - you may need to have your settings zero'd by a Toyota dealer running their system setup software.
Also - just out of curiosity - did you install a rear sway bar at the same time? |

Did you remove the clock spring? the traction system uses the steering angle sensor and if you removed it and didn't center it correctly then it is confused given it might think your making a sharp right turn due to the sensor signal but your actually going straight.

NickGTI, you need to do a steering/yaw sensor recalibration. It's common to have the issue you're having even after an alignment with a toe adjustment of just .10" of a degree. You need either subaru, or a local independent shop with an up-to-date computer system (read Snap-on Verus) or the like to do a re-learn. Probably the steering wheel position is just skewed a bit. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help guys!!! i think it had to do with the clock spring and the wheel being slightly off each other cause it hasn't done it in like 3 weeks since i toyed with it last trying to fix it.
