If its only 8lbs then the sticker should instead say

"All occupants of this vehicle must defecate before entering."

I wouldn't think they would place an official sicker on based on mods you've done. They wouldn't have a way to test them to determine unless you used only TRD parts that they haave their own data for.

Looks more like a TSB type item or real talk, a CYA item. Probably found out later that their original recommended weights were slightly off and this is the fix for it.

I have one too! Except mine says 0 kg/0 lbs. I had my last free oil change last weekend. I was wondering why I didn't remember ever seeing that sticker. Wonder why you have reduced load capacity? I have no suspension mods, only little mods like mudflaps/hids/tint/etc.

Could be they (toyota) made a mistake on the original loading sticker. This is their way of correcting it. USA is a litigious market- they'll not risk a lawsuit because the plated weight was wrong- doesn't matter that 8kg wouldn't actually make any difference.

Please call the dealer and ask them what it is and why they put it there. Then post their response here for the edification of the rest of us.

Your dealer doesn't have access to those stickers, those are installed at the port for any accessories (spoiler, fog, etc.). Not something to worry about.

I remember like 2 years ago this was happening a lot due to some TSB or correction to the factory sticker or something. No big deal.
