Any analog gamers out there?

I love my video games (mostly racing, FPS, and MMO) but sometimes it is nice to just unplug and play some games face-to-face.

By analog, I mean board gamers. It seems that board games are making a resurgence over the last few years and my wife and I play almost on a daily basis.

I am talking about games like Munchkin, Legendary, DC, Ascension, and my perennial favorite, Cards Against Humanity (I have all expansions).

If anyone is game (pun kinda intended) I would love to get together with folks and play.

Board games are awesome. Cards against humanity is great. One of my personal favorites is We Didn't Playtest This At All. I have also played a game called Bang! which was pretty fun, still have yet to buy it though. Also Mao.

Then of course there are always the classics like Uno, Phase 10, etc.

I'm kinda far, but would be down if it got set up on a weekend.

My friend just picked up the whole set of CAH and even the Big Black Box. I want to get a set of my own but it's been sold out every time I go to buy it.

As far a actual board games go, Some friends and I used to play D&D way back in the day, but nothing like Sorry, Life, Mousetrap, Risk, or Candyland for 20+ years, lol

I kinda play Magic, but just slap decks together to play a friend (not legal decks, but still fun. lol)

I do kinda play Pokemon, but haven't since I moved out of the bay since nobody really plays out here.

Used to play all sorts of stuff when my buddy from the midwest was working for Intel out here. Also used to go to my other bud's place in Union City to play games as well. Shadows over Camelot, Dominion, Settlers, Bang! (uhg, I hate Bang!), Apples to Apples... Have yet to play Cards Against Humanity though. I think we played a game of Risk (Lord of the Rings Edition) at one point as well...

I used to play magic a long time ago also. It was such a money sink though.

My girlfriend and I love board/party games. Big fans of Cards Against Humanity. We really enjoy stuff like Arkham Horror and Betrayal at House on the Hill. We are also occasional M:TG and D&D players as well.

We are totally up for meeting and gaming with new folks too!

For real, thats why I never really bought too many cards. Since i just played with friends I found a site to print proxies and just put them over lands. Lol

Yeah, There was always way too many steps to each turn for me. That and the money was why I never really got into it.
