Just do it yourself and get a proper alignment and corner balance after. The setting up will be done with a proper corner balance. Literally took an hour to do all four on jack stands.

installing is easy, corner balance/alignment is what takes time.

but make sure you know what you want the car to do... and understand the limits/pros/cons of your choice of coilovers.

Corner balance and alignment is actually not the hardest part. The real hard part is to first get the ride height and the various adjustments to the shock cartridge right for your intended application.

For this car the best starting point for ride height is 15mm lower than stock, and go from there.

Unless you bought them to slam the car for show then just disregard what I said above.

BTW Ivan @ iGarage seems to get recommended everywhere. They did my STI pink springs and the job was great (no clunking on turns or anything). I'm waiting for Toyota to release the 86 By Tada Handling Pack so I can get those Sachs shocks to go with my springs, will probably go back to this shop.

Scott @ CanAlignment is great, but you need to know what you want, not a bad idea to specify alignment specs.

Scott is also a wealth of knowledge for settings if you can give him some background on what you want out of the alignment and some general settings that have worked for others.

Your best bet is to go see him with feedback on how the car handles with the factory alignment (push/oversteer, tire wear, etc).

Thumbs up for Scott too. Had my car corner balanced and aligned there after installing coil overs myself.

Does Scott have Experience working on the frs/brz platform. I am looking at getting my tarmac II installed. I am also wondering if i should get the car aligned right away or wait for the coil overs to settle and then get it aligned. And is it worth corner balancing the car as well?

Automatrix.....dont trust anyone else with my cars!!! They can do the install and the alignment in one stop!! Really cheap and they have worked with a lot of FRS/BRZ's before. Ask for Ed or Alic and tell them Rachel sent you. Shop is at Keele and Lawerence right off the 401.
