brakes and cooling

I saw some of the drake ducting products out there and they look expensive and require some tubing to be run. Ive never looked underneath to see if it is possible, but has anyone tried/considered a poor-man's brake duct?

Porsche brake ducts have been used in the Subaru world before. The problem is that tubing is going to be more effective and the control arm mounted scoops have ripped off.

^^ That's my plan, fog bezels are on their way. Just have to modify them with some hard tubing to clamp the hose to, and make a backing plate for the rotor end.

I just took my dust shield off and got the hose as close as possible. Its noticeably cooler after a run. Im sure a back plate would be much more efficient though.
