Anyone get clutch rattle or thud?

When I engage first gear from neutral, I get a light "thud" about 1/4 second later which I feel through the car. Is this considered a normal "clutch rattle"? No standing starts or anything stupid. Car has 1000 miles on it, noticed it around 500 miles.

If you step on the clutch, wait for a couple seconds, and then shift into the 1st gear, you won't hear/feel it.

^^^ This... The clutch assembly will stop spinning and will then engage without the thud..
