New Plates No Car

Hey ppls,

just received my personal plates for my ordered 86, what do you think pretty cool?

I received the plates within 5 days, unfortunately my order for the 86 is still around 4 months away but who knows how accurate Toyota is with their delivery times.

Glenn.

How do you get plates for a car you don't have? Doesn't work that way in Murica.

In Australia it's different, we can pretty much reserve or lock in a plate and stash it until it's ready to be assigned to a vehicle.

nice plate you got there! here in the Philippines, its the other way around. it takes us usually 2-3 months to get our license plates. i have friends that took them 6-8 months til they got their plates. its a common occurrence already to see several cars that look old already, yet their plates haven't been released yet.

Cool!

Can you choose the characters you want? or the plates follow their sequence and you just reserve in advance.
