Gas mileage?

I think my gas milage is not as good as it should be...I average 21.7... Should I be concerned? I usually get about 250 miles to the tank. What are other people getting? I basically drive 217 2x a day sometimes traffic is stop and go, and I like to drive a little fast when I can, but is this normal?

I get 290-320 each tank.. I got an increase of 3mpg after my tune and mods though. I drive from gladstone to troutdale Monday-Friday.... 205-84 Prob 80% highway. I only have stop n go like 2-3 times a month due to a dumb-ass who hit someone..... If I take the car out for the weekend though and have "fun" i'll get 270 for a tank.

Depends on your shift points and how hard you take off.. My room mate, damn nears redlines every gear, hard ish take offs and gets 21 mpg on average.. I on the other hand in city of Vegas get 29-30 because I shift much sooner, take off pretty slow, as I'm not in a race.. True mine is a auto, but when I got here I was getting 22 trying to keep up with him every where.. I. Shifting before 3 all the time, hardly ever go over that unless I wanna have some fun

Turn on your shift indicator. It will tell you when to shift for better economy. I usually drive in 6th gear when going 40. 5th 35. 4th 30. 3rd 25. 2nd everything lower than 20. Shift at about 2200 rpm unless on a hill and the car is slowing down. Also don't press the gas so hard and ease into speed. I average about 30 with my manual in mixed driving.

26 avg on the trip computer.

In hwy driving, I am conservative and don't go above 6k rpm.

City driving, especially when I see small twisties on backroads and wide turns, I become a hooligan and rev up to 7300 rpm.

I get about 32mpgs on the computer and manual calculation. So it's pretty on point. Usually 3k-4k on Highway and a little bit of 5k-6k on curvy road when going home. So far I'm loving the mpg

My FR-S doesn't seem to be getting great gas milage either. I had a raven (R.I.P) which seemed to get much better gas milage than my argento. I think after the first oil change the gas milage gets a little better. At least thats what happened with my raven.

P.S. I've kept my rpms under 3000 and still get 21-22 mpg. I don't think thats normal is it? Or is the avg. mpg feature not very accurate? Or maybe its just all the hills in Aliso

I average 27.4 and hit 10k miles just yesterday. Daily driving, I'm just following the shift indicator, so I'm not driving like I stole it...most of the time
