Motegi Racing SP10

I'm considering buying a set of Motegi SP10's (18x8 all around), they will be under $800 shipped so the price is definitely right for my budget but my concern is I haven't been able to find a ton of feedback on these rims from people, would like to hear everyone's opinion on them. As far as style, this is exactly what I am looking for. As far as weight goes, again at 19 pounds this is what I'm looking for. As my Fr-s is my only car the majority of the use will be daily driving, however I have friends from work who auto-x and there is a newly finished road circuit only 30 minutes away so I plan on going out to the track when I can. My main concern is if these wheels can handle some light track duty, and that's something that nobody has mentioned in the few reviews I could find. So if anyone has some insight, how durable are these? Are they going explode if I hit a pothole at speed haha? I found on their site that the load rating is 1200, and having next to no knowledge of what to compare that to, I'm not sure if that should be a concern or not (seems low to me).

Thoughts?

Load rating is fine. I'm going to be ruining traklites and am now concerned about the durability. They have always been great wheels in the past. They should be fine as long as you have a proper offset

Probably going to pull the trigger on these later this week unless I can find a reason not to. Here's the link to the best price I could find (really don't understand how they are so inexpensive still, but no complaints)

Ive had these rims before on 2 of my cars and its hard to tell from the picture but where the spoke protrudes from the base of the rim, it actually extends past the lip....aka its almost impossible to avoid curb rash. Also these wheels are heavy for sure. I did get several complements (when i had them on my JCW MINI) but after a year they were pretty thrashed with curb rash.

What offset did you have in your mini? And what do you consider heavy? These weigh 18-19 pounds (depending on who you trust for accurate weights) and are bigger then the stock 20 pound rims, for my that fills me light weight needs.
