Thanks guys. Me to. I tried buying back the 17x8's (I really wanted the 17's) that I had on my STi but the new owner wasn't having it. So I tracked these down and jumped on em.

Looks good, I really think more people should go 235/40 especially if they aren't lowering. It fills up the wheelwell much better and I tested my speedo with them and it was right on. Every tire is different of course but there is a good selection in that size compared to the 245/35.

Yerp, that's why I got em. There just wasn't much to choose from for 245/35 or 235/35.

I picked these up on the super t-rack cheap sale action. Never had/wanted pirelli's but these are pretty money and waay cheaper than a comparable tire.

Wheels look really good. Sometimes keeping it understated is the best way forward.

With the STi aero - do you plan on painting the sides or leaving black? Thanks

yes that size has much better selection. It is off on speed according to GPS vs digital readout but it doesn't really matter to me

Keepin it all black. Everyone wants me to paint em but I'm not feeling it. Base Corollas and every other car on the road come with painted skirts.

I feel like the "black" look is less mainstream and really makes the car pop.

Thanks. I'm a huge fan of Volk/Rays, Prodrive, etc. I'm also a fan of "rare" things that everyone else isn't rocking. It's pretty hard now a days to have a set of wheels that a thousand others don't have.

Yep, and these are the best of both worlds. They are forged and manufactured by Rays Engineering to the JW+ standard. My set had the Rays JW+ inspection sticker in the barrel.

Very nice! Those are the wheels that I've always wanted but I always wanted the British Gold color.
