Factory Remote Amp Turn on BRZ
I have done a lot of searching but can only find the factory remote amp turn on wire for the FRS. It is not the same for the BRZ. Does anybody know which wire turns on the factory amp. Installing a aftermarket headunit and I cant find it.

There is no remote turn on, only on when acc is on.
Its the darker green wire seen here next to my red wire. |

Do you know which harness that green wire is at on the factory harness so I can tap off it? And Did you just connect it to the ACC wire on your aftermarket HU?

Why don't you power the camera directly from the reverse lights tapping off of them in the trunk, that way the camera will only turn on when your reverse lights are on?

There are plenty threads about installing a reverse camera, you didn't specify that in your original post. I assumed you were trying to turn on an amp (based on your thread title) and provided you with a picture of the factory amp's wire harness located in the trunk area.

I asked two seperate questions. I was hoping there was a reverse wire to tap off in the dash from a factory harness instead of running a wire to the read. Same with the factory amp.

I am installing an aftermarket hu. That's the reason why I said I was in my original post. And I wanted to know how to turn on the factory amp that's why I originally asked. There's obviously a wire in the dash to use. I was asking if anyone knew which wire that was. My back up camera plugs directly into my alpine hu since its an alpine camera and its plug and play.

The amp is not controlled by the factory stereo, it simply turns on when the car's acc is on.

Wow I can tell I haven't done this in a long time. I haven't checked but now that I think of it my issue probably isn't the factory amp turning on. It's an issue of how to get a signal to the door speakers so they know to play. Sorry I have never dealt with a factory amp before. Any help on getting those speakers to work on the BRZ would be appreciated.
