BRZ temperature display malfunction

I just want to see if any BRZ owner have this problem?
When I first start up the car and temperature display did not display the correct temperature (it is fuzzy) until the car warm up (about 5 minutes). See the picture on the passenger side display. I think it is the LED problem but not sure if anyone have same issue or just the display is defected?

Is it because you have the DUAL temperature ON? That's what I notice within your picture. Try to turn off the DUAL (no green light) and both side will sync with the same temperature. Otherwise... check with the dealership service department.

The OP isn't asking about the dual temps, they are wondering why the right side numbers are blurry.

I would say the panel is defective. If they were both like that, it would indicate that the lcd doesn't like getting cold (like many lcd screens don't like the cold and get slow and blurry). But because one is fine, I would take it in.

Sorry dude. This same issue happened on my previous car before. It's because of the temperature & moisture change. That's why it's gone once your car warm up after a while. The moisture inside the panel released when it's warm enough.

It would still indicate that the right one is defective though, even by your moisture logic since the left side is perfectly fine.

But seeing as it does still work, OP is likely SOL with regards to warranty.

Every car I've ever owned has done that with those types of displays. Except it's not "Feels like -15" mid day like it is in Calgary in October, even in northern Ontario where I grew up.

Go through warranty and get it replace. Then it's out of your sight and out of your mind.

Same problem, same side. Not sure if I'm going to have it fixed. Less they touch my car the better.
