IAM and Knock Issues: OFT Stage 2+/ Stage 2 + E85
Howdy all,
I've been running the OFT Stage 2+ and Stage 2+ E85 for a while now. I took all of the precautions mentioned in the various E85 guides posted here. I went back to the Stage 2+ 93 tune once I noticed some knock correct in the range of 0.68-2.XX. Very rarely would it ever exceed 0.68, but it would only ever ping in the range of ~3100-3600RPMs with steady throttle inputs (ie. highway cruising, 6-12% throttle); but NEVER under full throttle. Happens on the 93 tune as well. I have a Mishimoto cold air intake, Borla UEL catless headers (no leaks, checked already), and I haven't scaled my MAF. What should I be doing to fix this? Disclaimers: I've never used RomRaider, scaled a MAF, nor do I have any tuning experience. Open to anything, willing to learn and be called an idiot. |
