all tesla's are crap. I don't care what they put in it if they cannot get basic stuff like door handles and charging ports to not constantly break.

I think some 1970's Volvo designers would be proud.

Ordered, tri motor , full self driving, and will add the solar roof option when available.

Got myself the 2019 model X dual motor performance and very happy with everything. Not perfect but still very happy.

I ordered the Cybertruck. I think it'll make the perfect tow rig for my BRZ once I strip and cage it.

More I look at this "thing" more I like it. @Ultramaroon yes it is a box, but to me it is a different one. At least, it is better than the electric Mustang. A good vehicle to be driven for a trip on Mars.

Many opinions expressed in this thread...

Short version for me:

Ugly, but growing on me. Needs a stealth fighter motif.
The tri-motor, if delivered at that price, is the best value proposition in their lineup.
The range (almost all day driving range) is what I want.
Don't want the L5 self driving or the solar panels.
The cabin/dash design (or lack thereof) is more of a non-starter for me than the exterior. Will not buy.

I'll accept self-driving when it's on Elon Musk's insurance policy.

Good article on Steve Wozniak's take on self-driving. He was a huge proponent for it at Apple but has sense changed his mind a bit.

Next model and its unveil event might be even more minimalist.

It's a NOPE for me.

The ease and quickness of refueling when towing is critical and I'm sure the range will drop considerably with 7500lbs behind it. Secondly getting stuff out of the bed from the side isn't happening with this and that's a pretty significant qualify of life item for truck owners. The interior is a non-starter as well. From a "truck" standpoint, it fails everywhere for me, but if you need an all electric grocery getter that can go off road because there are no roads in the dystopian future this comes from, then you go on with your bad self.
