2017 CWP Limited PP "Baymax"
I usually make build threads for most of my cars to keep track of mods and make myself feel bad over how much money I spend on them. This is no different, except I bought this in an attempt to save money. Obviously, this was my first mistake.
After spending around $400 a month on gas in my XJ I decided to give the BRZ/FRS a shot. I had always liked them and I had actually forgot about them as a viable option for me. I mean, decent mileage and fun to drive works for me, and it was either this or a Nissan versa. this was the only one I found locally with a manual, but not the color or car I was looking for. I bought it anyway, I figured the white would grow on me. loved the handling on the test drive, and it wasn't nearly as "slow" as I had originally expected it to be. And yeah. That's where the name comes from. My cousin named it Baymax after she asked how fun it was to drive. I said its fun but its not fast. Shiny white paint, black accents = Baymax. I'm not one for naming cars, but it stuck so here we are. I now have a slow sports car named after a Disney balloon robot. I'll be honest, it fits it pretty well. I've had it about a month, I've done the LED interior lights, weighted shift knob, Perrin wing riser, OLM roof spoiler, smoked corners, K&N drop in filter, PLM catted front pipe and a Blitz Nur-Spec C-Ti exhaust. I'm not really one to have a solid direction or plan for a build so this will be whatever I feel like throwing at it. I'm guessing wheels/tires, springs, camber plates, and sway bars. So, here's a few pictures I guess, I'll update as the mod list grows. |

I feel somewhat prepared with 3 jeeps currently.
But I'm not letting my guard down. |

Much better choice than a Versa. Drive my XJ once a week to keep it up but mostly for winter

yeah I need to do a heater core flush this week after we fix the PCV in my buddy's V70R.
I would like to try the BRZ in the snow but it'll probably just get garaged.

springs and sway bars have been in for about 2 weeks, ish.
Front sway bar is a royal pain in the ass, springs not so much since I did the no spring compressor method, which was amazing. it rides.... differently. Not harsh but definitely not smooth. I also went 1.5" lower on an 18x9.5 +38 wheel, which has basically everything to do with the current ride quality. I'll have to try it on a set of 17's. That being said, at any sort of speed it's planted, flat, and SUPER confident. Almost telepathic, or as my buddy put it, "disgusting". for the $600 ish I spent on the kit, totally worth it. Side note, I have the swaybars at the stiff setting and over any sort of crest in the road or in a steep apron driveway, its 3 wheel action is nothing short of impressive, so keep that in mind.

man, talk about ignoring a build thread lol
Some changes have been made, namely Tein Flex Z coilovers, stoptech rotors and project MU pads, factory tS body kit, Sard LSR, and apex ARC-8 wheels wrapped in firestone indy500 tires. recent trip to tail of the dragon:
