I had an accident 2months ago and it was 100% opponent's fault. we didn't call police and agreed to go through her insurance to fix it's damage. My question is that will this show up on the carfax report? I heard as long as there isn't any police report it most likely won't show up on the carfax. It was only $600 job of repair and her insurance wasn't big name kind of company either(farmer's).

p.s: is there anyone out there who can possibly look up my vin for free of charge by any chance? don't really feel like spending 60bucks for this

Chances are very good that if ANY insurance company pays carfax is notified.

Yes. It should definitely be on the carfax.

Also, side note.... Farmers is one of the biggest insurance companies out there.
