I thought the spoiler was just attached using double sided tape but there are screws. Any idea on how this is installed or if drilling two holes is needed?

This looks as if drilling is required...is this true? if so, it probably holds down a lot better than the five axis

Yes, it needs drilling - unless you want to dremel off the threads - it's extremely light as well - I'm going with almost under half a kilogram - it feel as light as cardboard. haven't decided if I want to drill yet... I may just use the 3m tape, but not too sure...

$430 shipped through jesse streeter - group buy section in the aussie forum... I think if you get a group of 3 - it's about $30 cheaper (depending on exchange rate)

cheers on the sim - built it myself and with another mate - pvc with a supercheap auto chair

dad having a go at my old place

Grinder + Plastic = 10 second job

I don't really see the point of bolting this thing in. It's not going to take off while you're driving. The tape should be more than enough. Plus no nasty holes in your boot lid

Comes with a simple template that you use to mark the spots that need drilling. Mine is sitting in the garage, I'll be drilling holes on the weekend... Pics to follow

yeah just saw something like that with all the black markers? - be very keen to see your pics! cheers! -

also are you just winging it? or can you read japanese? I'm guessing it's pretty straight forward.

I can't read Japanese but it's easily worked out by the pictures. Cut the template out, line it up, it'll show you exactly where to drill. You're drilling through a single layer of metal, nothing to difficult about it. Not sure what all the stickers are about, assuming its to prevent it from scratching the boot.

Exactly. Not only will they steal the spoiler, they'll fuck up your trunk lid real good too.
