Gnats/Flies in my FRS

Just wondering if it's just my FRS but since the day I took delivery I've noticed at least 15-20 nats or small flies in the interior and trunk area. I wanted to find out where they are coming from but had no luck. I even found 3 dead under the spare tire. The area I park at work or at home doesn't seem to ever have these type of nats/flies.

It's more humorous to me then anything, but i'm wondering if anyone noticed this.

Maybe this is the FR-S/BRZ answer to the Supra JDM Spiders?

Gnats usually means there was probably some stagnant moisture somewhere in your car. They were probably there while the car was in transport.

This is what i'm worried about. I hope there isn't some puddle of water that would eventually lead to rust. Not sure where else to check other then the trunk

This happened to my civic. I guess there was water in the trunk and it ended up rusting so bad that I ripped a big hole out of the bottom when I got a flat tire and tried to get the spare out.

Perhaps try putting some DampRid in your trunk.

Thanks. I'll pick up some of that tonight and leave it there for a few months. The trunk area is fine since I already lifted the spare out. I'll probably put it in the interior

I did not see on the PDI list anywhere that removing a dead body from the trunk was a standard procedure.............

You sure that isn't a standard feature?

I've noticed if I wash the car and go to sit in it, it sounds like a bucket of water is being poured out from somewhere. I have no idea where the water comes from, but I'm guessing it gets stuck in a body panel somewhere.

This is not good.

December 2012 is rapidly approaching and I think we have stumbled upon the source of the impending armageddon.

Japan, earthquake, radiation...you have Mothra spawning from your trunk! Kill it with fire quickly!
