Openflash header 2 install question.

I just ordered the OFH2 off of a Canadian site and they don't offer the same gasket kit that the Openflash website offers. I got the Godspeed gaskets but they don't come with bolts like the Openflash gasket kit has.I am uncertain if the flanges on the Openflash header are thicker and require longer bolts to properly thread the nuts. Can I reuse the stock bolts and nuts from the stock header?

I would, but I am getting access to a hydraulic lift and I won't have a lot of time with it. I don't want to be running back and forth to Lorco if I can help it. Just a quick and simple installation(though it never seems to work that way...)

The stock header and overpipe use studs instead of bolts. Thus, you can not reuse them in another header.

M10-1.25 x 35 flanged-head bolts should work fine. Depending on how thick your overpipe flange is you may want to go longer than 35.

Regardless of the length, M10-1.25 is the stock stud size. You can recycle the nuts but I'd highly recommend new locking flange nuts, because your stock ones will be rusty.

Grade 8 or better on all.

Using stock fastener size and thread putch will put the stock torque setting close-ish, but you shouldn't be afraid to add a LOT of torque to that number.

It's a 2014.

I think I'll get the M10-1.25 x35 bolts just to be on the safe side.

Thanks guys and Merry Christmas!
