What did you/will you do on your first day of ownership?

I plan on taking it directly to a detailer for Opti-Guard and then having a photoshoot. Of course there will be a little bit of this with the lady friend.

Took it from the dealership right onto Skyline Blvd (in NorCal for those who know it) for some fun through the twisties. Got a rock chip on the hood, but it was worth it.

There is a choice selection of roads just outside the metro area in Perth that will be driven as well as a cruise around the streets

Make the 692 mile drive from Reno, NV to Los Angeles, CA down PCH with the beautiful coast to my right... then obsessively detail and look for a good place for an opti-coat .

Drove off the lot, duh. Played with the gears in amazement I might add.

Parked it in front of Applebees to get some grub! I was at the dealership for 4 hours negotiating price on pre-paid maintenance and stuff.

Oh and got a zillion looks and confused faces: "That's a SUBARU!?"

Detail and opti-coat it, drive it, get it tinted, learn how to drive uphill, drive it some more, show it off to friends, then drive it again.

Take it to my work place's parking garage and practice MT going
up and down the gears and up and down from level 1 to level 8
to simulate driving conditions in San Francisco.

Drove it from Vernon, CT to White Plains, NY. Stayed overnight in Manhattan after taking metro north in, drove the BRZ from White Plains to home in Fairfax, VA.

I drove it a good 300 miles of twistys, in town driving, and scenic roads, rotating friends out in the passenger seat so they could experience the thrill of the new car as well.

Changed the shiftknob in the dealer parking lot. Day 1-5 was driving it 2100 miles from CT to Louisiana, including a run of the Tail of the Dragon.
