Auto transmission torque limit

Hey guys,

I've tried an extensive Google search, and can't find any reasonable data. How much torque can an frs auto transmission reliably hold long term?

Anyone with blown automatic transmission?

I've seen full Blowns thread with 400whp, but that hasn't been updated since 2013.

We have a customers car (built motor, Supercharged) that has held 340 TQ for a year or so now without issues

I'm outputting around 400tq on my turbo and it handles it perfectly fine. Over 2,000 miles on it and no problems.

That's encouraging news! I have a built motor as well, and am pushing only 300 at the wheels. I'm planning on going to 400 at the wheels which I'm assuming will be 315 torque?

Any other thoughts?

There's a thread by wlfpck compiling details on the automatic transmission. It was recently updated with torque specs (300Nm) obtained from Aisin website. Link below to thread. Thread contains link to Aisin website.
