This looks very nice..compared to that plastic piece of.. we have sitting on our engine. Sort of what the e92 m3 has, without the obvious ITB's. In for testing results.. and someone running these on their cars, NA or FI!

It looks like I'll be doing some testing on my car which is as near stock as I could keep it. The car has a mid-pipe back aluminum exhaust that likely does nothing for power, I just wanted some noise. Once I complete the testing here on the NA platform, FT-86 SpeedFactory will be doing FI testing on their time attack car .

Would it be beneficial for the inside of the horn to be polished smooth, or is it not a big deal? Or do the slight ridges perform some function that I am unaware of?

It is not a big deal. That is just how this machinist decided to finish the bell horns. The ridges are very small and more aesthetic than actual ridges (probably 10 thou max between peak and valley).
