Here's a closer comparison. Exact same road but quicker time on second run due to alignment settings.
Before - 255F/124C http://datazap.me/u/wayne/206-stg2-u...g=0&data=1-8-9 After - 240F/116C http://datazap.me/u/wayne/206-stg2-u...=0&data=1-9-10 As we already knew, it's more useful as an oil warmer so good for a daily driver and autoX. For track cooling an air cooler is much, much better (by a further 20F/11C). |

Hi, good to hear from you, ..what tips can you share about installation? In the kit, we got 2 hoses; one short, second- longer, 1. What route should they get?(a. short in, longer out? b. does it matter which one 2connect 2upper or lower water plug under throttle?) 2. What is the "patent" 2save water, when changing hoses? Thanks! |

..ok, so, anwers for my Q.by myself :
before installation open the water plug(in order to reduce pressure in the system). Start changing with lower (under throttle 'nose'), route it to the angled out in the oil cooler. You should do it as quick as possible, in order to prevent loosong water. Prepare clamp for tightening, because hose is a bit bigger, than 'nose' under throttle (on the oil cooler it fits good though). The upper nose under throttle should not leak at all, so changing it just a pleasure. Hope it helps. |

Technically:
The angled (1/2") port on the cooler is IN on the OEM installation. The straight (3/8") port on the cooler is OUT on the OEM installation. The lower (3/8") port on the engine is IN to the return line that goes to the radiator. The upper (1/4") port on the TB is OUT of the TB. Doesn't matter because there's bugger all coolant going through it anyway because of the 1/4" hole. |
