Trying to pick my next car

So I'll be doing this in the spring or shortly after the first of the year. Not sure yet if I'll keep the BRZ or trade it or sell it and get some other DD like a Jeep or something different.

so basically I've got it narrowed down the following:

C8 Corvette. LT2/Z51. not the base that's for sure.

C63 AMG S

Jaguar F Type

Porsche Cayman GTS

voting other just so I can see results.

feel free to throw up some suggestions. I'd like to keep it under $80k but a little over won't be the end of the world.

You can get a nice used R8 for that price. That might be my next car. Supercar performance, and blends into a crowd pretty well.

The Cayman is the only right answer......... *cough* Supra *cough*

Why no Mustang GT350 or GT500?

The 350 apparently gets some upgrades for 2020 https://www.motor1.com/news/364648/2...shelby-gt350r/

no. Waiting until the C8 is out and available. that's why I figured it might take until after the first of the year.

I'd hate to drive one now, think it's awesome and end up wishing I had waited so I could drive them all.

I'm kinda impulsive sometimes so I could end up pulling the trigger to soon.

eh'. this is the only R8 within 100 miles of me and it's 11 years old with 57k miles. The Porsche and Jag are both under 20k miles.

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=244928193

all the other R8s are over $100k

I really don't like the new Supra. never cared for the Z4 so it's natural I wouldn't like a rebadged Toyota.

Not really a Mustang kinda guy. then again I don't like Corvettes either but the C8 doesn't look anything like any other Corvette ever. it looks like an exotic and with the Z51 package it's sub 3sec 0-60 and damn near 200mph top speed. just based on looks alone it's pure sex on wheels.

In terms of depreciation protection, I'd go with the Cayman or even an R8. In today's market, the values go down and then slowly start creeping up again.

Quick 5 minute search of how I would spend of $80,000 for cars if someone said do it now!

C7 Corvette

2013 CTS-V (for when I need a back seat)

I'd even have a little change left over after negotiating the prices down a bit. Would have to spend more time to find them without AT though.

Keep the BRZ. Get a Jeep. Richest couple I know has a couple of 4-door, lifted wranglers on mud tires. And an F450. A hummer h3. A hummer h1 fire truck. An F450. He might still have the vette. But really they just drive the Wranglers.
