So then when does it switch to 2014? That's a really small number of cars to make. I thought Toyota said they would make 20,000 in the first year. Was 2,000 a typo?

I thought it was an abnormally low number, but it is what they said. They said they plan to up production numbers for it next year. I don't know if that means a 2014 will be out before the end of the year. Just going off what I was told lol

Maybe it means 2000 for this year. Then the rest will continue in 2013, just my guess.

I wonder if this explains the weird June allocations, which show only a handful of cars coming.

When I heard it I thought it was low, but when I thought back to June allocations, I was like must be true. I think she had 8 to give to 44 dealers. It's insane.

I think the 2,000 # was just for our region. I think it was 14K for the entire model year.

I know the Boston region will be getting about 500 from now till the end of the year. That's not a lot. Last allocation had about 14 FR-S' and this region has 72 dealers.

Good to know. But God someone needs to go to market with a darn exhaust for this thing soon. I'm sure most people on this board want one ASAP

No way is it 2000 for the entire year for the USA! That is less than the BRZ numbers!

They already sold about 2000 units...

My area's Ride & Drive is Thursday and Friday at Pocono Raceway! I cannot wait to go there because it should be a blast! I'm only at 630 miles or so and haven't really experienced the true potential of this car yet.

I guess if they discontinue Hot Lava, I'll have a collectors car then.

I wouldn't doubt it one bit if they discontinue Hot Lava. Its a butthole move to some people but it brings up the value. I kept getting calls from the dealership I got my xA from after they "replaced" it with the xD cuz it was in higher demand all of a sudden

Agreed, I am calling on the numbers he was told. The BRZ is projected slightly over 500 month / 6,000 a year for US.
