Got a set of rims and plan on using stock tires. Can anyone please recommend a shop that would swap the tires/tpms from stock wheels to new set without scratching lip and at good price? I went 17x8.25 +25

Come to my uncles shop , it's probably gonna be 15$ per tire mount and balance. They have the machine that mounts the tires in reverse without scratching the lip.

@chadstyle again, thanks for suggestion. looks like this is the standard price for this job since i called several local places and went in person to 2 and they all charge about the same I didn't know any better. Found a place that did it for $110 and was closer to me. @F3dzo your uncle's shop was too far away but thanks anyways.

Dropping the baby today at @KAB-FRS shop to get clutch installed and get the exhaust issues resolved finally.

I know I'm leaving him in good hands.

Hey guys!

Im from Miami (Sunny Isles Beach) and Im looking to buy a scion frs in ultramarine fairly soon.

Currently drive a 2007 Scion tc and I cant sell it myself since I still owe money on it, so I'm thinking about selling it to carmax..

How much did you guys payed for your scion frs (Automatic, no add-ons) ?

I need to get a better idea of how much Ill be paying.. Hopefully I'll join the south Fl team soon

I have a BRZ MT, so I can't comment much. First months when the car started being sold, dealers where being extremely ridiculous and marking up the car even up to 6K over MSRP.

I believe now a days you can get it for MSRP, look around at all dealers!

Andres from KAB Customs ( @KAB-FRS )
10020 nw 46th st
Sunrise, FL 33351
(954)257-9787

Installed the FX350 today on the car. This is the go to shop for our cars in South Florida. I researched and asked around at several Subaru shops with awesome reputation, but none had any experience with our cars. Andres not only is a member of the forum, but he actually owns the car, is actively developing experience on the car (he has already had several FRS/BRZ clients) and to ice the cale also has an incredible amount of experience with custom built cars. One of the best assets of a mechanic is being able to work on custom builds. This makes working on a stock or "bolt on" car a piece of cake. I was impressed after visiting his shop and now I am even more impressed after seeing the work he is doing on my car.

Here are some pics of the clutch install he just did on my car, while also fixing some minor issues I was having with the exhaust:

Clutch before install with fluid:

Tranny already out!

Tranny top view:

New Flywheel vs. Old:

Car next to a scary as shit Del Sol build (I am telling you, that thing MUST fly!!):

Look at the new clutch on top, yes i got the FX350:

New Flywheel in!

And the clutch is in!!

Its an ongoing debate/mystery. I thought I had bought the FX300, but if you look closely at the face of the FX300 and FX350 and compare that to my clutch, it seems I got the FX350.

Furthermore, if you go to CM site, you can buy the 350, but the 300 is not available. They are both rated for the same TQ rating.
