Lesson to everyone - don't buy a cheap tsudo front pipe. First time it came off Bc the weld on the bracket support broke. Now the cat cracked. Not going back on. I'm just keeping the stock overpipe and front pipe on.
Yea these charger hate exhaust leaks.... Messes with the pressure.... Mine was on the driver side flange though... Like both ports on the driver side flange... Was bad...... Best part was I took the car in 2 times because the car wasn't running right and they never double checked their work.... Took me to pull off the header to check it... O well. Whats done is done. The car deff is smoother with the colder plugs though in the top end. I'm just rocking a stock gutted header + a stock FP with a deleted cat n resonator now... Had to sell my AM header n AM fp/op to pay for the last maintenance.... Kinda sucked.... but O well.. If only they checked their work to double check! lol....

Damn sucks man. At least you got it all figured out.

I actually have to pull the stock front pipe off again, because I have an exhaust leak where the stupid spring bolts are.

Yeah I should really do that lol. But I know the spring bolts are there so you can have some movement in the exhaust. I may just keep the springs and get newer bolts so I can tighten them done further than the stock ones allow.

So I went through last 25-30 pages, slugged through. Question as I see some remaining posts of some faulty bolts, many changing fittings in kit etc. Has any vendor or people here made Sprintex/Innovate fully aware of these minor but important shortfalls? If so are they taking care of making the changes to the kits that are going to vendors and customers now? While I admire always people's own willingness to improve things on their own, this should be all modified by manufacturer?..Things being discussed and found should not left to the paying customer IMO. Just curious as haven't located any posts as to this happening...

Hm, I'll have to throw that car back on the dyno to verify nothing's amiss!

I recall reading that Innovate started checking fittings were tight before shipping. In comparison, the Vortech kit has received revisions based on feedback/issues found.

Ya to be clear I'm not saying they have more issues persay. But ya the vortech thread you mention is exactly one of the things that got me asking myself this very thing.

I just (HOPE) that somehow these issues are known to the manufacturer and that they are modifying their kits to reflect to perfect the kits going out to vendors and customers "today". For some this is no big deal, however there are folks like myself that live in middle of butt F 2 that do not have easy access to all these small bits n bolts that make the kit "better"..

Just curious, what type of locking nut are you using on an exhaust system? Are you double nutting? I don't imagine nyloc is good for high temp applications?

Seems like every single kit has minor issues that get worked out over time. Some kits have major issues. Every kit has fumbled installs.

The most important thing for anyone to do if they have an issue is to contact Innovate or Sprintex directly about it. They aren't on the forums too much. I have reached out about the clamps not fitting the hoses and I *believe* they will not ship anymore with those pressure clamps, and now with worm drive ones. But if no one reports a problem, its kind of hard to think they would go about making a change.

I know a few issues people have had I haven't encountered, but i'm sure its vice versa on that.
