After extensive R&D?! Isn't this another company's analyzer? I know I've seen this elsewhere for half the price you're selling it.

Also, just noticed those fuel lines are the cheap non steel reinforced lines.

Yes, it is a Flex Converter analyzer. They are used in many flex fuel kits. I hope you don't think that's all this kit consists of. Please present a flex fuel kit for this vehicle that is half the price of ours.

Are you saying that nylon braided lines are cheaper/worse than stainless steel braided lines? Well that is incorrect. Nylon is better for ethanol and the stainless steel lines are very abrasive and are a lot cheaper

Sure, buy the analyzer direct from F.C. with a sensor $245 make your own bracket if you even need one, make your own fuel lines with Russell AN fittings and proclassic II hose. $300 tops.

No, I'm saying that the hose you are using, from Russell (I presume Russell performance proclassic hose) are the cheap fuel hoses that don't have the steel reinforcing in it (proclassic II). They both have chlorinated polyethylene liners with braided nylon sheathing, but yours do not have the steel reinforcing in the hose, as most other flexfuel kit offerings do. Why do you have to use the non steel reinforced... cost and profit, I guess.

It appears your under the impression you're using nylon hose...you're using CPE.

Your assumption is incorrect. The fuel hose we are using are not from Russell and these are not the cheap non-SS braided black nylon lines used by some others--that we've seen ruptured. Our fuel hose are specifically designed for use with ethanol fuel. They have a black/blue nylon woven outer covering with a SS braided reinforced inner lining. We opted to use this fuel hose for two reasons, first, they are ethanol compatible and second, although more costly than a conventional SS braided hose, the nylon outer covering prevents abrasion against other metal parts on the vehicle. If you take a standard SS braided line and rub it against a metal part, over time it will wear out the metal part like using a file--not a good thing.

Here's the hose spec:
Construction: smoth bore lightweight synthetic rubber interior with fluorocarbon based liner, single stainless braid reinforced, black nylon woven exterior w/blue trace.

Application: For gasoline, diesel fuel, biodiesel, E85 and other ethanol based fuels Suitable for most "taper" type hose ends. Operating Temperature Range: -30 f to +300 f (-35 c to +150 c).

One thing for sure is, Ptuning make an amazing parts. What you get is top quality & top craftsmanship parts. They don't believe in "cheap" parts or "half-ass job" parts.

If I had corn gas near by, I'll buy this without a hesitation!

So this attaches to the brake master cyl and thus not compatible with RHD?

Once you have flex kit and flex fuel tune in the ecu in car you can put any combination of 93 and e85 in the tank and the flex sensor will detect ethanol content and signal the ecu to adjust the timing and fueling for max benifit from you current fuel mix.

note you need and appropiate flex fuel tune (software in ecu) as well as the flex fuel kit hardware for a working flex fuel system

For max performance about 70% ethanol content or greater is required.

no switching or intervention is required its all automated

Correct. The bracket mounts on the master cylinder bolt on the LHD, the master cylinder on the RHD is on the other side, so it will not fit out of the box. However, that's not to say that you couldn't make a bracket that attaches to the firewall and then bolt that bracket to the flex fuel sensor bracket for the RHD vehicle. It's just that without a RHD car in house it's hard to speculate.
