Oh yeah and while I'm typing stuff.
Brett with the Dynojet. 520-971-5258
He's near the Tanque Verde Swap Meet on the S side.

Nice guy who wasn't in a hurry to get me out of there. $85 for 2 pulls.

Passing through on our main interstate I-10 - I recommend the Chevron at Ajo and Campbell.

Downtown to middle of the Old Pueblo, try Cherry north of 22nd. It's an unmanned pump that takes cards. The one on Alvernon north of Speedway that you find in web searches: a bust. It's closed.

E side has one at Pantano I haven't been to yet. I guess that's for when you do Lemmon on a 1/4 tank and coast down.

The best station IMO is on Houghton way out east. The have 100 or 110 race gas too.

I know there are others NW and elsewhere. Prices are all too close to each other to say one is the lowest.
The one on Cherry is Arizona Fuel' they actually make the E85 there and distribute it at times from my understanding. They are also normally the Cheapest.

Chevron at Ajo and Campbell is one of those that is easy to get to, They always struck me as expensive just like the two Shell stations on the NW Side.
(Rudisill on La Cholla) (Tangerine and Twin Peaks Rd) Both could be priced better but then E85 in Tucson is well horribly priced.

The Houghton Station is a good one, its the closest one to the Race Track, SIR.

Newby question; any benefit/risk(it is not 91) to using E85 if the car is not tuned specifically for it? Ironically I live pretty close to one of these stations so buying it would be pretty easy for me.

Your injectors/fuel pump/lines/tank are OK stock. That seems to be the consensus.

But you need a reflash because of the timing differences. Then you will need to be able to change maps if you can't get access to corn juice. And you do lose maybe about 25% of your fuel economy.

Flex fuel is a nice setup if you're willing to do more modifications.

ANother dyno is the Mustang at my friend Richard's shop (SPS). They have dyno days that are much cheaper.

MW gets lots of SCCA cars for the official dyno numbers they require. But I was impressed with the fab work they do. They had a dunebuggy that looked like it belonged to Satan.

Richard is a great guy I enjoy going to the Dyno Day events there.

Do not use e85 if your car is not tuned for it.

Can you do it yes, will it cause something to brake no. Will it cause a Check Engine Light, very likely.

While the PCM here might be different most are setup to go +/- 25% in fuel trims before they throw a code. Now with going to E85 it normally requires around 20-30% more fuel this means you could be pushing the limits of the car's ability to learn and not throw a code.

Now as for damage not likely, your an N/A vehicle set for 91-93 gas from the factory so its toned down as it is. E85 is so resistant to knock that most likely will never be an issue. I have watched E85 go much leaner than I was comfortable with while tuning N/A on the Vette and it never knocked. But it would be something you want to take slowly.

I would be willing to bet you have some serious cold start issues as they are still working out the lower temps on the OFT tune right now.

You would see a slight performance gain but not the usual. Many have commented that when they could run 93 Octane the car did seem to run better than on 91. Now I do not recall finding a dyno showing any difference but it has been commented on a few times. E85 will do the same but again the car is going to have to relearn and honestly during that learning period its not going to seem like much.

So in my opinion its not worth it. Yes you could do it, hell you could just use it as an octane booster but it will cost more than buying a good octane booster which would be a better choice.

Hopefully this helps.

Either way for 485 that seems like a decent deal for someone looking for a header I believe that's the cheapest new one out right now or is there another? I know someone had asked me at the last Tucson Meet so I took a look this morning while checking something else.
