Honestly, I'm not excited about the "stylish" packaging. They could've shaved off some weight and it wouldn't look like a panini press.

Dammit, not I cannot unsee that!

it appears the packaging is relatively efficient.

maybe some space could have been saved up front here and I'm curious given the design if the rear cylinders get more airflow than the front pair. take a look

Interesting take. I think it's one of the most beautiful open engines I've seen in a very long time. I like seeing the parts. It's not ashamed of itself.

Remember the manifold heat exchanger on the Sprintex? I would love to see some real heat transfer numbers. My intuition says it beats the more traditional Edelbrock unit.

I'd agree there (soooo much surface area!), but some of the speculation into the makeup of the kit put the Edelbrock with a much higher flow coolant pump, bigger front radiator, and overall lower operating temperature than the Sprintex. Could end up being a wash, but at least the Edelbrock will be simple to gather data on since it apparently monitors intake temps post blower.

Meh, @stockysnail's manifold already has extra parts in it. We'll just drill a little hole and stick a thermocouple up in that bitch.

He did ask for expert thoughts so we need data.

I agree, @stockysnail lets drill that fucker and get some data, otherwise this is all hearsay and speculation.

People have made MAP sensor plates with an extra part for a temp sensor. Jason at Nameless did but said their isn't much room in the manifold tube so he wasn't sure how accurate it would be.

I actually considered that as I was typing my clever post. I'm not feeling the accuracy question. Seems sketchy.

Since it would cost me about $2650 to 'upgrade' to the larger Sprintex 335 unit, i'm thinking it may be a better to just sell my complete 210 intercooled kit and get the Edlebrok kit instead with a slightly smaller pulley to get up to 300whp, then for later beyond 300whp with extra stuff and an even smaller pulley. Maybe I'll do that at the beginning of the year with tax returns. Hmmm.... If only it was next year already as my unsecured debt will be paid off so I can throw more money at my car!

Can't wait to also hear @johan and @VitViper thoughts on it. If only Counter Space Garage @CSG Mike was in Oregon instead of Cali as I'd let them use my car for testing if they gave me a discount.
