We had a guy wire up a WRX centre rear brake light to go off when he got below 30 or 35PSI. In some corners he'd get it going off. That said he is running Hankook Z221s and doing lap times comparable to a 997 GT3.

By chance I happened upon this brake fluid "Prospeed RS683" which from my googling is the same as Torque RT700. I found it for considerably cheaper on Amazon $25, free shipping.

My question is I understand RT700 is the rebrand of this fluid. How long ago was it rebranded and if I buy this fluid would I be buying old stock and probably worthless fluid? Or are both "brands" still in production.

hey guys i've been trying to practice heel toe and have issues with the rolling technique, gas pedal is too far out for me to reach. I've also tried rotating my leg and stabbing at the gas pedal with my heel but I feel like I tend to over break when I manage not to knee the steering wheel. Any advice? I've been looking at both the extended gas pedal as well as the spacer block but am unsure with which to go.

Try the Cusco pedal first since it's easier and you really can't fuck it up.

I'm partial to the SRP pedal, I love it. I've not tried the G-Speed relocation kit, but it looks great too. I just prefer my throttle pedal to sit a bit lower than the brake than it appears to place the pedal.

I'm not a big guy, actually dead on US average height, but my steering wheel is raised pretty high up and my seat is slammed to the floor to maximize thigh to steering wheel gap so my legs can move freely and I can hit the brake pedal with the ball of my foot and hit the gas with my heel.

Practice, try different things. Yeah I still Bork it up every once in awhile, but I haven't changed anything on the pedals and I'm perfectly happy with the car. The cheapest fix is tightening the nut behind the wheel.

I have my steering wheel up as high as it can go. I tried dropping the seat lower but don't like the visibility. Current seat height has me barely seeing the odometer over he air bag and I'm far back enough to where clutch to floor is nearly at full extension on my left leg.

Sounds like you need to slide the seat up and drop the wheel a touch, your legs shouldn't have to be fully extended.

But everyone is different, best of luck whatever you decide.

Spent the weekend at Mid Ohio, new personal best of 1:50.29 (last year was 1:54).

There's more time to be had, but I had to run a higher gear since my oil temps were getting pretty high. Looking at the JR radiator\oil cooler for the near future.

What shoe size?

I personally prefer to use the rolling technique to hit the gas with the outer edge of my foot rather than the true heel but with the pedal spacing on this car and a good purchase on the brake pedal (the more critical of the two) I almost have to wear sneakers (13) or work shoes. In Simpson (narrow) race shoes I've missed the gas pedal.

Make sure you're in the proper seating position too. With the brake pedal fully depressed, you should still have a bend in your knee.

Whichever method you choose, always prioritize your braking as that's important to maintain balance and control of the car. Worst case you will hold the clutch in an extra second to let your speed/rpms level out naturally if you don't achieve the blip properly, but you'll still keep the wheels on the pavement. Practice working from as far on the right of the brake pedal as you can get solid/confident braking and work from there. Get comfortable using that area and slowly start building to rolling or rotating your foot. Much like left foot braking, it doesn't feel natural at first but before you know it it'll just be something you do without thinking.

This is what I do in every car since I have tiny size 9 lady feet.

I'm looking at the CSGarage Essex AP Racing Sprint kit again. I will be at Road America this weekend, and that experience will determine whether I go BBK or not. I feel I've done as much as I can to the car without going to a BBK setup.

So, my questions. The car currently has the Touge Factory Duct Kit. Is there an adapter available for the Sprint kit that will let me connect the ducting to put air into the rotors? The Endurance Kit has an adapter, will that work on the Sprint kit also?

Will this kit fit on Enkei RPF1 17x7.5 wheels? If not, what can I do to make it fit?
