ugh i hate it when passengers grab the window and put their weight on it to get in/out of the car.

I test fitted one. I won't say drove because getting in was such a joke I knew there was no chance I would buy one. I'm tall and old, so I have long legs that don't bend so well.
I had to fold the roof over and climb in from above then pull the roof back into position.
I had the same problem with an S2000. If the roof hadn't been down, I never would have gotten in.
Oddly enough, I have no problem getting in and out of the FR-S as long as I can open the door all the way. I just put one hand on the roof edge, lower myself down onto the seat and swing my legs in. To get out, I swing the legs out and kind of roll into a standing position. Touch my toes motion to get out then straighten up.

We can cut a hole in the roof for the strap to go around or strap it around a roll cage

This car is easy to get in an out of... There is a nice rubber spot on the door sill that is made for you to put your hand on to lift yourself out. Getting in, I put my right leg in and simply sit down into the car while guiding myself with my left hand on the door sill. Getting out is the same, swing left leg out, roll to the left and use left hand on door sill to lift myself out.

I also move the seat all the way back every time I get out. I can get in with the seat in the driving position, but I'd rub the bolster all the time.

Don't pull on the steering wheel, as steering wheels are quite easily bent. I don't touch the A pillar as that's just asking for scratches and wearing the seals.
