These brake kits are going to help me with my "more fun at a tonne" build.

Looking at these to fit on my BRZ but concerned about having to add spacers to clear my wheels

I totally forgot about this thread, but just rediscovered it and read it all again.

Any updates, @swift996?

I sold my car a while back but to give you an update. I did upgrade to the WRX kit for the 2008 car. They were 14" rotors and were 32mm thick. They were awesome but required an 18" rim to work. You can get more info here:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63636

On the kit mentioned in this thread. It's a solid kit, very inexpensive and does it's job. It would be great for Autocross or street driving. Pushing the car to it's limits on the track will wear through the rotors quick due to the lack of heat capacity. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who tracks their car. For auto-x and street it's a great kit.

Bumping this thread for the major interest in lightening everything. Just ordered wheel tire setup at 35.3lbs in stock size. Will remove 6.2 lbs per corner. Car will be down to about 2500lbs with minor HP increase so I don't need a massive BBK Im sold on the front brakes mainly for the weight loss and minor ibrake mprovement. The reason Im bumping and will continue to bump is what did you guys use for the rear????? I just read this entire thread and no one will answer.

-Does the rear Wilwood 2003 wrx kit work? http://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/Bra...temno=140-7006

-How about this kit mentioned http://www.pandlmotorsports.com/product-p/pl-sub401.htm ? With possible bolting on a different wildwood outer rotor that is more normal.
- Or just keep the stock rear caliper and use lighter 2pc rotors? But be stuck with stock calipers that look out of place with the wildwood calipers up front and might have a rear bias issue and not lose as much weight.

why not go for the RR Racing setup? They use Wilwood calipers as well, but have kits for both front and rear with "proper" (there is some debate about it, look up the information and decide for yourself) brake bias.

They look like they sell some great bang for the buck kits but I'm looking for a lightweight rear kit to go with the Lightweight wrx front kit this thread is talking about.

It looks like from reading this research using the stock rear brakes with this mini Wilwood BBK has the least amount of deviance from the stock bias. https://www.pointmeby.com/2016/09/24...z-frs-gt86-86/

Was just hoping for a lightweight caliper but I'm sure I can find a stock replace lightweight 2pc rotor.

Any luck finding a light rear rotor? I heard the OEM 2006 WRX rotor is the same dimensions and shaves a couple of pounds.
