I understand your thinking. It raises a few eye brows if I mention my favorite video game is DOOM.

I agree. It's tragic that she hit her head but I doubt the odds of that injury happening like that are very high.

She got out of her handcuffs (on one hand) and ran. If there was grass there she would have been fine, if she landed differently she would have been fine.

That cop is a sad excuse for a cop IMO due to his physical conditioning so maybe he couldn't actually reach out and catch her. Hell if he jumped on her and killed her, what then? "He should have used his taser!"?

It's tragic but fuck.. if she didn't run from them in the first place........

I guess the alternative is he could have tackled her from behind, crushing her body and head into the pavement and resulted in the same outcome, or grabbed her handcuffed hands, popped her shoulders out as he threw her to the ground. Lets be honest, once you run from the cops, they stop playing nice and IMO they really shouldn't.

also i'm curious if one of the comments has any validity to it.

She was cuffed with both hands behind her. He didn't make the cuffs tight enough and she got one hand free.

I remember playing Wolfenstein 3D back in 91 when I was 11 years old, that game was amazing at the time! lol

As far as the whole save and restart thing, when I was side swiped in my 2 month old car, all I wanted to do was go back to my last save point.

Actually in this case, it's not much of a stretch. This is around where I live, and 5 minutes from where I used to live. That road is extremely busy and hands down the most dangerous road to cross in the entire Tampa Bay area.

Even if she didn't get hit, that less than fit officer likely would have been.

How has this gif not been posted yet...it's almost a cliche that terrible things tend to happen in Florida.

Seriously guys, FLORIDA. Need I say more?

Why can't they just buy HD camera's already? All cop videos look like we're stuck in the 90's...

But the way she's running makes me think she's still handcuffed. Even while she falls her hands are together. After hitting the ground you can see her body relax after the tazing stops and her hands remain together.

She was a danger to society, clearly. But that cop was like a foot away, maybe two. He could of easily caught her before the end of the parking lot

Cops don't even beat people anymore. They just taze you and skip right to the knocked out part. I guess it's just easier for them now. It makes me question if I would rather be tased or beaten. Whatever happened to the good ol'fashioned ass whoopin?

She was trash....world is better off without her...read the article posted...

The car was stolen that she wrecked twice...
She and her mom have drug convictions...
She fled from cops....

It had to be said.

Yes police brutality occurs...

But yeah, what should he have done? A taser by definition is NOT LETHAL force.
Unfortunate that she fell and died from her injuries.
But she was involved in a hit run...she doesn't give a fuck about anyone else...yet we should feel bad for her and her POS mother?

I am ex-military...I work in an emergency room...I see these "types" of people all the time.

Trust me...the cure for cancer was not lost by her dying.

Now that video of the cop shooting the guy...that was some horrible shit and that cop should face murder 2 or at least manslaughter charges.
