I think that there need to be activities in order to make the meet fun... otherwise you just have a bunch of people standing around.
I plan to attend, yes, I just don't want to plan the event if I don't have time to make it better than last year. With my remodel in full swing I just don't have the time I need.

I've been part of various event committees before. It's always hard when there aren't enough people volunteering to help out. Everyone always wants to reap the rewards but never put in the work. I think Darren could still organize the event if other people are able to do their part to contribute, finding sponsors, making up activities, brainstorming, etc.
