Currently I have the ECU sampling and calculating at 50hz, which should be more than plenty... but if not I can certainly run it faster

Obviously you can skew the results if you want to though.. grab some gears down a big down hill grade... lol
I can already see the 1200 hp FA20's being built.....Some with stock rods.....lol

Vit wrote a software dyno 7 years ago when we were both in the 8thgen Civic Si scene - trust me, we had some _high_ hp NA Civics come out of the wood work back then

ha! Good times. None of them could back up their numbers at the track while I was trapping 102mph with *only* 202whp e-tuned by Vit.

Yup, and then I was the guy with a car that had never seen a dyno and was doing 11's @ 117 with the stock clutch / header / exhaust

Indeed you can -- especially since I run an IMU. Just need to figure out the math for this. Regardless it won't stop people from skewing the results if they want to (zero the IMU wrongn... unplug it...)

Hm, I want to hear @sachu 's opinion, it's just as relevant.

As far as i know. Bob has been dailying his FRS at 450whp for over a year. As for if hes running E85(likely) or built engine, that im not sure.

With some work, you might not even need to dyno on the same stretch of road. Working in a slip factor might help there, too. As for fakers, who cares?

You can monitor the wheel slip difference in the ecu too, of course lol

Yeah, I know. I'm just saying that you can make the dyno more sophistimicated.

Well if anyone was wondering, the trans is definitely weaker than the motor. 3rd & 4th collar are probably scarred from all my power shifting. Takes considerable force to get in and out of those gears now. hahaha

The price of awesomeness. I have yet to see specifically how anyone has addressed the rocker arm quality control. Is that still hit or miss?
