I've done a few, some of those guys are have crazy setups to do it right. Co-drivers with whole banks of timers and what not.

I did a road rally one time.

It was fun. It wasn't a race of who can get the fastest time per leg nor who can get the fastest time overall, but who can follow directions to the "T" and match the specified time without cheating.

Extremely stressful, amplified by the cover of darkness and not knowing where you are. Also I had to put full trust into my co-pilot, who was my brother. Let's just say one mistake from him cost us the race.

But learned a lot from watching the other drivers and looking forward to when they start up again.
