yeah an moss is 300...and it just happens to be one of, if not the best, combined for the street and track/auto-x tire.

Grand Meat Master Jive hath spoken and a new era of 245 tire acceptance for meaty consideration has begun!

Allow me to welcome myself into your midst of meat.

17x9 +42 Mach V Awesome's
245/40/17 Bridgestone RE-11A

Compared to stock: no stretch, no bulge, 100% lean meat.

Whiteline top mounts add enough negative camber for safe OEM lower spring perch clearance.
Lowered 22mm on RCE Yellows. No rub on and off track.

Do these top hats have any adjustments, or are they just bolt-in negative camber? Looking at the pics of them, they look solid...weird...

Also, would I run into issues without them? Stock Struts and S-Techs.

The Whiteline Com-C top mounts aren't adjustable but they add negative camber and a bit of caster as well. They are high-durometer rubber and have bearings in the middle. I do not recommend them as they have caused issues for many people here including myself when running them with the OEM struts, which have a welded flat washer on top of the upper spring perch that doesn't play nice with the camber angles provided by the mounts. A conical washer is needed but Whiteline refused to admit that even after doing a bunch of warranty replacements with bearings destroyed by OEM upper spring perches and then shortly after all the Com-C's disappeared from the 86 market.
More on that here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26146

With 245's on a 17x9 +35 wheel you shouldn't have any clearance issues. You may be able to run OEM camber bolts with stock strut top mounts without rubbing but be sure to double check everything before assuming it's ok.

can you point this out with a picture please?

sorry didn't realize this was more of a full tire thread. Thought it was like the aggressive wheel thread.
The wheels are curbed and the paint is chipping, these have been my drift set for two years so they've seen better days.
