----off topic----

Hi there, I bought a brz sports tech manual and was thinking about installing a remote start. Anyone out there who knows of a good brand or if it's ok for a manual transmission car to have a remote start installed?

Thanks

I have a question to ask since I am younger and the rest of you have probably gone through this before. I was thinking of getting custom tips on my exhaust system and how they do it is by removing the pipe from the Back Cat and putting the tip on from there. The problem is that they weld the tip on which makes it so that I can't replace with OEM every time I bring it in for service. That's my situation though the question is does it void my warranty? Or is it safe since it's behind the back Cat?

I think that youre talking about the exhaust tips that are at the rear black trim piece on the back bumper? I believe that just the exhaust tips themselves are held in by some screws. They can just be replaced temporarily with no welding.

There are posts where people have replaced theirs with larger JDM ones.

Well my friend that I work with had his muffler tips switched out and what the guy did was weld it on permanently from the flange since they don't supply the piece where you screw it in so if i did it he would chop the flange off and just weld the whole pipe together which would make it wider and no axleback canister....

Sorry. I was talking about the two bolt that connect the originial pipe to the dual tips.. it's behind the left tip and that's where i would get a weld so both canisters would be taken out and new piping in

Has anyone in Calgary had their car tinted yet? If so, any recommended shops and your experience with them?

Any Calgary guy want to get a set of these hood struts?

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...highlight=hood

It's 115 shipped for a set, but if I get two, it's 100 shipped each (for the plain black).
