The bit about "professional install highly recommended" would concern me. Also, we have a vendor that makes diffusers already

I'm no aerodynamicist, but that design looks inefficient.

AeroFlowDynamics Rear Diffuser

*2013+ BRZ/FRS REAR DIFFUSER
*Fitment: 2011-2014 WRX/STI SEDAN ONLY

So what does it fit? Because the cars mentioned don't have the same rear bumpers. Plus sorry but it looks like a simple piece of aluminum, sharp lol dangerous. Wouldn't want to imagine that "unprofessionally" installed, flying off the car and decapitating someone.

Look at the welds on the "fins" (they are called something else and I can't think of what at the moment). They aren't sitting against it and its just a quick line of weld. I can't see this being that great of quality.

Strake.

They also make side splitters, very similar to the Driveway Labs product. @Wonderbar

fwiw,

The term "professional installation required" and "off-road use only" are terms of art ro release them of liability, should some idiot install it incorrectly and cause injury/damage as a result, or to comply w/ regulatory rules regarding stuff that can be used on public highways.

Also, this product seems slightly less obtrusive than the driveway labs product, but probably doesn't work as well. I guess it's a step between functional and discrete. Personally, I am looking for something that is hardly noticeable but functional. Don't like to attract attention.
