At 70 MPH on the highway with a/c on for a 40 mile round trip, I *averaged* 37 MPG. This is up from 33 MPG without a/c. At 75 MPH on the same trip but a day later, I *averaged* 35.5 MPG.

This information shouldn't be taken as "put on this diffuser and get XX MPG" as every car is different. My calibration may be slightly better or the exhaust less intrusive, who knows. What I do know is I never got 37 MPG before at 70 MPH.
Is this also with your front splitter?

That is pretty amazing. It's just too bad it won't fit the RS1.0 without modifications...

I can't find any decent photos online to reference. We added a lot of flexibility for mounting for the final production piece.

I live in Omaha. Would it be possible to drive up and see if this fits an Ark DTS exhaust before I purchase?

Placed my pre-order over the weekend (full setup w/diff covers). Will be replacing my ghetto rigged heat shield diffuser. Have the stock b-pipe connected to a Nameless 2.5" muffled track pipe, so we'll see how those latest production changes fit...

I would contact FT-86 SpeedFactory directly using e-mail or phone as they get bombarded with thread notifications on the forum. They're a great bunch of guys, I'm sure they wouldn't mind, but you should really ask them directly.

Looking at photos, it will be close. Could you send an e-mail to sales@velox-motorsports.com? We can help walk through some measurements to hard points on the car and narrow in on if it will fit or not .

I caved and pre-ordered one before the price went up. I didn't go for the full paneling because of the cost and possible interference with the rear JDM underbody panels (I THINK it might be able to be jury-rigged to work with a well placed cut or two, but I'm not 100% sure).

I plan on going full Aero-derp with the car, already ordered a splitter + winglets I've been eyeballing for awhile (Dev Sport) and I'm going to order a bunch of JDM aero bits soon (TRD canards + fender wings, TRD trunk aero thingy, STI gurney flap, and something to replace the antenna not sure what yet)...

Would it be possible to sort of highlight or trace where this diffuser would and 'diff cover' would interfere with the stock underpanels?

The price went up? When was there a pre-order and how much was it??

So I may or may not have "borrowed" the prototype for a quick drive to San Diego from Phoenix. I don't have my splitter on yet and I'm missing the fiberglass under panel and had a stock midpipe with muffler delete. We made some trimmings and swapped things out... Mpg increase was subtle but noticeable. I don't know the last time I ever saw numbers tapping 30's in my car. (E30, perfect driving conditions for mpg on a short part of the remainder of the trip). Don't use this as an expected result but... This may be worth it's cost in mpg savings alone hahaha! Mind you I have no muffler so my bumper is a massive parachute. So it will be more drastic on my car than someone with say a stock exhaust. High speed stability on my car was a joke previously. Felt quite nice at *ahem* sufficient speed with the diffuser on.

It will hit the stock JDM under panels. However it is made of a thin aluminum that is very easy to trim with some sheers. We did some trimming in 30 seconds to fit around the exhaust on my car. It was probably the simplest modification to anything I've done. Cut through it like a hot knife going thru butter. I can't recall the exact mounting points though Eric would need to confirm if the mounting points would still fit.

I was going to order JDM under panels but now I'm going to start pestering Eric to make a mid section to match up with the front and rear.
