EDIT:MAF voltage does work on the new template, does the tablet exhibit caching behaviour?
After every update to the datalogging feature, you will need to go to configuration screen and then back to realtime data screen to make them take effect.

I am seeing some flck (not FBCK) monitored knock (KC learned also dropping) in the 5000-7000 area WOT between 1 and 2 degrees retard.

IAM =1 and steady.

Looks like its our fuel again (98 RON).

Is that level of knock likely to cause problems ??

hey guys, been doing alot of reading, searching and reading more... Cannot find the answer to my question. I really love the idea of this tablet, the more i read about it the more i want it. only problem is, down the road i want to go with a turbo as opposed to a sc... are there plans/will there be plans to do an ots tune for a kit or even a oft/turbo kit like the oft300?

if this has been talked about before sorry about my noobyness and if you could point me in the right direction.

@shiv@vishnu recently mentioned that their shop car will probably be getting a turbo next

thats what i like to hear

now one last question, since i obviously dont have the oft yet and on my sti i had a local race shop do my tuning on that, i dont know how these off the shelf tunes work... i see in the downloads section of the website there is a link for baseline ots tunes, what all does that entail? There are the completely stock tunes that ive read about im assuming, and then what? are there some for different exhaust / intake set ups etc. or once you get into that is where you need to start tuning yourself?

125=wide band O2 compatability! Yayer! I'm assuming because of this post on FB: https://www.facebook.com/23343167667...levant_count=1

I asked about it couple week ago and now they're implementing already! Virtual high five @shiv@vishnu!

There's Stage 1, which is just a drop-in filter at most. Then Stage 2 for UEL and EL headers and then E85 for each of those. I'm sure there will be other stages at some point.

Since the tablet is basically just a tool to load the maps, you don't have to wait for a specific tune for your setup. You can tune it yourself or see if your local shop can tune open source, AKA RomRaider. It's just like if you had a Tactrix cable, but you don't need to keep a laptop in the car to use all of the features.

Speaking of which, @shiv@vishnu, will the OFT at some point have the ability to record multiple datalogs back-to-back? I don't know how much storage space it has, but I've recorded pretty long drives. That same space could be used for multiple short runs. I am clueless as to how that works on the programming/development side, I'll admit. But it would be really handy.

I am no longer the only person who has asked for this. I even asked for possibly just a pause/append option. It really isn't that hard to do.

Yes, multiple data log file storage is in the future. It would have been implemented by now already but we decided that enhanced datalogging was a higher priority. And now that that is implemented, the next update will be wide-band o2 sensor integration. And once that is done, we have some MX5 updates to make (they don't even have datalogging yet!) And THEN, we will implement multiple log file storage. So it may be many weeks away. But it is coming for sure. One of the benefits of the OFT is that it is compatible across many platforms. The downside to this is that each platform absorbs equal R&D resources. That said, the next several months will be primarily focused on improving the tuning experience and making it more streamlined and time efficient. Multiple file datalogging is only one small component of that. Wideband is another. But there are other functions which are in the works.

I would definitely revise the ignition map judging by the logs. Assuming you can't run higher grade fuel, the first step would be retard 1 degree under load between 5k-6k rpm. And retard 1.5 degrees above 6k and try again. And the re-test. You probably wont need to retard more than that.
