I think the first one would look a little better if you centered the 86 logo in the space above the line. It just looms too high. Id buy one like that.

I think #3 is the best one but I think if it had an 86 logo or 86 piston logo at the bottom that would be cool

Wow! Lots of feedback on the first day. I'll try to address questions the best I can!
Quote:
I'd love to release pricing information, but there are two factors that prevent me from doing so. First, I haven't created an optimized cycle for these yet. That basically means I don't know how much time I'll be putting into each set, and how much fabrication costs are, but I'll be working over the next few days to get them as low as possible. Secondly, the forum rules specifically prohibit vendors from discussing pricing in a thread like this. Once pricing becomes available, I will post up that information in the vendor forum, where it's allowed. I love the administration here so far and I'd like them to love me too, so I'll be doing my best to keep my posts in this specific sub-forum as non-commercial as possible. It's just a feeler to make sure I'm making a product that everyone wants, and not something I think you want. Quote:
Quote:
Per the above replies, I can't post pricing information here. They will be in the "stocking stuffer" pricing range if that helps? I can't post a specific price here, sorry. Quote:
I don't have any experience with enamel but so many people have been requesting it I think I might need to give it a go. What do you mean by machine out the kick out bits? You want them to go all the way through the metal to the plastic underneath? Quote:
Per the above quotes, I'm not allowed to post pricing information in non-commercial forums, but the pricing will be very reasonable. I've been looking around at other metal coaster manufacturers and I should be able to meet or beat their pricing when it's all said and done! Quote:
By date and build number, you want the date of purchase on top and the build number below it? That can definitely be done! Quote:
I'm closer to Disneyland, but I love driving down to visit Stone's brewery, it's an amazing place! An 86 meet there would be pretty awesome Quote:

Love it too! Quote:
Thanks everyone for the wonderful feedback! Everything posted here will help in developing the final product so I can make something everyone will be able to enjoy. |

I really like the 86 logo w/ the VIN#. Any chance of doing the GT-86 logo from the EU models?

Thanks for the response. It looks like you hit the nail on the head. I agree that deeper, thicker cuts would look a little better.

Great ideas overall! I like em. However, sorry to poop on your designs, but your 86 logo isn't up to snuff. You're missing the blur streaks to to the left at the top of each number opening. Like so:
