Basically.

I have no idea who has done all the work to my car... Since you know, I don't know anything about it.

Hey, when did the chip get back on? I don't know where anybody said you don't know about the car.

So why are you here?

If you read any of it beyond the first few posts (there were some bad ones yes) you would see that it wasn't the OP here that was the issue. Most posts to him were well wishes and congrats. It is the other asshat that flaps off all the time that was causing the debate.

The vast majority of this community are great but like any place with a population of this size there are all types. Are we all supposed to hold hands and sing? This is a car forum not a hippie commune.
Your "I hate this community" is no better than the comments you are condemning and considerably more hypocritical.

I have no chip? I simply gave my opinion on the subject. I said it's a scion so of course they are going to use cheaper materials. Then some guy replies back saying "it's made by Subaru." Like no shit, cause I don't own the car or anything. They still used cheaper materials so they could brand it a scion and try to revive the scion name.

I haven't owned any Scions, so I can't speak to their interior quality. I will say that all three Subarus I've owned have all had interior quality very similar to this one. For me it wasn't a surprise that there are some squeaks and rattles and quirks, but if Scion normally has their interiors on point then I could definitely see it upsetting some Scion owners. I think in this case the Subaru tie-in is definitely playing a part.

Hmm maybe so. I've never had a Subaru, so I can't really say much about them. I do know a friend of mine has a brand new STI and his interior is top notch. That's also a $40k car so maybe that's the difference.

Again this is my own opinion. I don't think I should get blasphemy for thinking how I do. I never said I hated the car, in fact I stated the total opposite. I just wish it was better quality, considering I spent close to $30k on it. Im sorry but $30k for a car isn't cheap. That's a good chunk of change.

Cool, you had me worried for a second there.
Nah same materials as the base BRZs and all the 86 models world wide. Just the badging is Scion they didn't make whole different cars. I never thought of Scion as a poor quality vehicle anyway.

Coming from a 2009 tC, I can say it had better quality interior. Maybe that's just me though. Scion has always been the cheaper brand aimed towards the younger generations. Most of the youth wouldn't really have any complaints about quality, that's not even something they think about. Being older, I feel like they should have put a little bit extra into the interior of the FRS. Again, just my opinion.

Agreed, especially if they wanted to attract a wider demographic. The FR-S should be the flasgship scion but the interior sucks. At the time I bought it I didn't care cause it was an awesome ride and the exterior styling is awesome but over time I grew tired of the interior.

Personally, I like the interior- it's so very uncomplicated. Granted, my only real sticking points on car interiors are good driver placement, excellent seats, and a steering wheel that feels good under my hands.
