Exactly.. Not quite the same raw feeling as the MGs or the TR4a .. But much quicker, reliable and comfortable.. I love this car for its simplistic "feel".
All the goodness of the old school minimalist design..

I had a Triumph Spitfire and the electrics were always a problem, even the day I was driving it to a dealer for trade-in. It's been said that technically the British never progressed beyond the steam age.
