I have the same problem with my front bumper, I can live with it, but it's just really annoying to look at. hope you get yours all sorted out, and if you do find a solution that doesn't require replacing the entire bumper, please share!

I looked at @AVOturboworld's turbo FRS, and they had the same front bumper problem. I believe Paul said it was there after they removed the bumper and re-installed it.

I wish it was just the driver's side for me. the gap is much larger on the passenger side. would take pics, but it's at the autobody shop getting repaired, some girl hit my driver door (this was the second accident my FRS had, first accident was with an SUV and I do take responsibility for it, really sorry, please don't hate me guys). Kinda upset with the sh#t luck I've been having.

Just wondering as someone who hasn't removed the bumper yet...
BEFORE THE BUMPER IS VIOLENTLY UNCLIPPED HERE... would it be possible to UNBOLT this side clip from behind the fender liner or from underneath the car and have it COME OFF WITH THE BUMPER??? Therefore preventing any wear & tear? |

Mine was like that on both sides after having the front bumper/left fender/ left headlight replaced due to a woman hitting me.
I took it back to the body shop and they replaced whatever clips were broken. Still holding well. Hope it gets figured out, as I would like to order the AVO kit and will need to remove the bumper to fit the front mount and I don't want the bumper sticking out like that.

mine became like that after 5k of driving. Local member pointed it out brought it to Scion they said that normal and would not do anything. I took off my front bumper to retrofit HIDs and black my housing and could not fix the issue myself.
Both sides are now doing it... I'm just going to buy a INGs+ bumper and hope that they correct this issue on theirs

I'm very OCD about this stuff so it will all be fixed one way or another. Just getting frustrating that issues keep popping up. I would say glad I'm not alone but I think it sucks. There has to be a good solution for the bumper issue. I'm thinking a plastic shim that you wedge in once the bumper is set putting downward force on the bumper to tab seat or maybe a little plastic epoxy to build up the tab on the connection bracket so there is something to bite onto. I dunno yet.

I had no issues on my reinstall, but I took time, one snap at a time before tightening any screws down

I have this issue after blacking out my headlights. Did you guys come to any resolve? I'm hoping not to remove the entire bumper just to realize there is nothing I can do.
