3" so I'll be ready to turbo a year or so down the road. Going full 3" so I can just swap to a turbo without changing anything else, just modifying the header from NA to FI.

5" because the header is going to make it tons louder. Go 4" if you plan on sticking with the stock header. There's a great description on the site about the difference between both.

I tried to find the answer to a question I have in the 50+ pages in this thread, but apparently I missed it so... What's the deal with the offset axleback versus the non offset? Can someone link me to the one I need to get? Or tell me so I don't get the wrong one...

I'm assuming the majority of people are going with the 2.5" 4 inch mufflers?

I apologize if this is a repeated question.

Thanks for the help,

Rob

Straight from the Nameless site:

4" Mufflers: These are our hand built mufflers with 4" outer diameter and 8" length. They are center inlet, center outlet and are constructed entirely from T304L Stainless Steel right here in our facility by our crack team of fabricators. The sound of these is less than the muffler delete but greater than the 5" mufflers. This option is the best for those who like a bit of volume to their exhaust but don't want the "race car" noise and are not planning to upgrade other portions of the exhaust. This option is also suitable for those who like a loud exhaust and are planning on upgrading their downpipe or their downpipe and overpipe.

5" Mufflers: The dimensions of these hand built mufflers are 5" diameter with a body length of 8" and offset inlet/outlet. These mufflers are the best option for a nice smooth exhaust note. The tone is nice and deep with volume being mellow with stock exhaust otherwise. When you decide to upgrade to an aftermarket downpipe or overpipe/downpipe combo, this exhaust really comes alive while remaining deep and smooth sounding. This axleback even keeps the volume down at a tolerable level with our catless header.

Off-set = deeper tone
Non Off-set = louder, less deep tone

4" mufflers with a header may introduce some unwanted sounds.

easy as pie. Two bolts and 30 minutes later the exhaust was installed lol if you look under the rear of your car you will see how easy it is.

Thanks. I'm really liking the sound. How many new bushings did you use? I'm looking at getting the 5 inch mufflers. Maybe I'll run into you in YC. Are you going to the event in Livermore?

Yup, just be sure to clean off the old gasket material at the end of the stock midpipe before you install the Nameless axle back. Silicone spray or soapy water to get the hangers loose. An extra pair of hands makes it easier but i did it myself without a jack in less than 30 minutes.

I put the stock hangers back on. I ordered 4 urethane hanger bushings but found they added vibration to the chassis at a few rpm points so i swapped them all back to stock after one drive. Honestly it does not move much at all with the stock bushings... I don't think the urethane ones are needed at all.

Went to a similar event in Novato last November. Lots of interesting cars and people.

They are not required. You can re use the stock ones. If you want to limit side to side movement you can order either 2 or 4, just be aware they may introduce some additional vibration.

Also just want be clear that there won't be any warranty issues with the axle back. I think I read in these forums tat there shouldn't be, but my confidence in my dealer to be up on warranty policies is pretty low.
